Alekos Fassianos is a contemporary Greek painter and artist, internationally renowned for his figurative paintings and use of bold colors.

It us such an honor to work on such an important project.

THE REQUEST

The request was to create a website to showcase Alekos Fassianos’ art, history and exhibitions from all over the world. His art includes paintings, book covers, scenography, posters and books that he has written.

OUR SOLUTION

We built a robust CMS based on WordPress, customized to meet the project’s needs. As it is a fully dynamic website, it offers the freedom to the client to access all data and update the website contents at any time. For such a project it is vital to offer the ability to add projects, categories, news and exhibitions with ease.

The result is an optimized and responsive website, minimal in order to allow artworks to shine.

Lab21 developed both the front-end and the back-end part of the website.

ALEKOS FASSIANOS

The user has the ability to choose the number of projects shown per page. This option is stored on a cookie to use throughout the site.

For each project, the user is able to zoom the image and by drag & drop to view all details of the artwork.

A custom search functionality was created. When the user types in the field, the first search results are shown below.

Another custom functionality is the ability for the user to filter the search results and narrow down the results.
